The Birmingham Business Journal has unveiled its 2017 Top 40 Under 40 – a distinguished group of up-and-coming business leaders who will shape Birmingham and their industries for years to come.
Some are entrepreneurs. Others are key executives for major companies. All are individuals who have compiled a list of impressive accomplishments before their 40th birthdays.
The Top 40 Under 40 awards, now in their 34th year, are one of the most coveted honors for young professionals in metro Birmingham. Past winners include several of Birmingham’s Most Influential Executives, dozens of CEOs at top companies and many individuals who are transforming the Magic City.
This year’s class was chosen from a record field of more than 350 nominations, meaning less than 12 percent of nominees were ultimately selected for the class.
